SL1000 PPA Portable Parallel Analyzer
The Hach SL1000 PPA is a field portable colorimeter designed to significantly remove manual handling variability during field testing.
The Hach SL1000 PPA removes powder pillows & glass vials from the field by cleverly encapsulating all chemicals & processes into disposable “Chemkeys”. As a result, test repeatability is increased, inter-operator variability is decreased, and significant time is save in the field.
A single instrument combines colorimetric and probe-based testing in a field kit that requires fewer bulky accessories. Up to six parameters can be tested in parallel.
SL1000 ChemKey based (reagent based) parameters include:

SL1000 probe based parameters include:

Hach SL1000’s can be purchased with or without reagents & probes.

Perform multiple tests faster
Complete more tests on site, get the results you need faster, allowing you to visit more sites in each shift. Perform up to four colorimetric and two probe based measurements in parallel 75% faster than with other methods.
Less Variability
Automation and internal temperature control make the entire process consistent and repeatable, while applying the same processes as current Hach methods. Avoid manual steps that can introduce variability, even when performed by experienced testers.
Less Hassle
A single instrument combines colorimetric and probe testing in a field kit that requires fewer bulky accessories. All chemicals and processes are entirely contained inside the Chemkey. There are no powder pillows or glass vials to handle.

SL1000 Software Update
Directions for updating software on the SL1000:
1.) Plug instrument into AC power
2.) Download software to PC
3.) Connect USB cable to instrument and PC
4.) Drag/drop software zip file directly into instrument folder (Do not open zip file, just drop whole folder in)
5.) Safely remove USB connection
6.) On main instrument menu select settings >meter >upgrade software.
