The Ott Water Level Meter, also known as Ott Contact Gauge, provides a straightforward and reliable way to measure the depth to water in groundwater wells, boreholes, standpipes and monitoring tubes.

A compact probe is lowered into the access point using a graduated measuring tape. When the probe reaches the water surface, an audible and visual signal alerts the operator. The water level can then be read directly from the marked tape at the reference point.

Simple operation, portable construction and immediate results make the contact gauge an essential field instrument for groundwater monitoring, environmental investigations and routine site inspections.

Depth is displayed in centimetre increments.

Clear water contact detection

The probe detects contact with the water surface and immediately activates an audible and visual signal. This clear indication helps the operator identify the measurement point without estimating when the probe has reached the water.

Once contact is detected, the depth to water is read directly from the graduated tape at the wellhead or nominated reference point.

The Ott KL 010 Water Level Meter measures:

• Depth to water.

Once the probe touches the water surface, an audible & visual alarm is triggered, and users can measure depth to water.

Once the probe touches the water surface, an audible & visual alarm is triggered, users can measure depth to water & determine water temperature.

• Temperature range: – 1°C to 70 °C

Available tape lengths include:

Model 3:  KL 010 TCM 

The Ott KL 010 (TCM) Water Level Meter measures:

• Depth to water.
• Temperature.
• Conductivity.
• TDS (Total Dissolved Salts).

Once the probe touches the water surface, an audible & visual alarm is triggered, users can measure depth to water, determine water temperature, AND measure Conductivity & TDS.  The Ott KL010 (TCM) is perfect for creating temperature and conductivity profiles.

• Temperature range: – 1°C to 70 °C
• Conductivity range:  0 – 200mS/cm
