TROLL Com Plus

The TROLL Com Plus is a portable Bluetooth communication device that connects compatible In-Situ instruments to iOS and Android handheld devices.

It enables wireless instrument configuration, live readings and field data collection through the VuSitu Mobile App.

It can also support access to telemetry data through HydroVu.

The TROLL Com Plus is suitable for:

Communication Options

The TROLL Com Plus supports:

When connected to a compatible instrument, the TROLL Com Plus enables wireless communication with a mobile device.

The VuSitu Mobile App can be used to configure the connected instrument, view readings and access data files.

Instrument Connection Options

Available connection accessories include:

• Rugged Twist-Lock Cable for configuring, deploying and collecting live readings from a connected instrument
• Direct Connect Adapter for configuring an instrument out of the water
• Rugged TROLL Setup Cable for configuring compatible Rugged TROLL instruments and downloading data

Note: Do not submerge or deploy an instrument when using the Direct Connect Adapter. It is intended for out of water configuration only.

Barometric Pressure Sensor

The TROLL Com Plus includes a fixed barometric pressure sensor.

• Range: 300 to 1,100 mbar
• Accuracy: ±3 mbar maximum
• Resolution: 0.01 mbar
• Units: psi, kPa, bar, mbar, mmHg, inHg, Torr and atm
