Aqua TROLL 400

The Aqua TROLL 400 is a compact all in one multiparameter water quality probe designed for rugged field use.  It provides a standard suite of six water quality sensors in a sub 2 inch diameter instrument for groundwater, surface water and process water applications.

Sensor Suite

The Aqua TROLL 400 is supplied with a standard suite of integrated and replaceable sensors. It continuously measures 12 parameters from six sensor installations.

Low Flow Sampling

The Aqua TROLL 400 is suitable for use when low flow groundwater sampling when coupled with the TROLL Com Plus portable Bluetooth device, the VuSitu Mobile App and flow cell.

This setup provides real time readings and trend information during purging and sampling.  The Groundwater Sampling Assistant helps technicians assess parameter stabilisation, while the mobile app reduces manual transcription and supports calibration and low flow sampling reports.

By bringing instrument readings, field guidance and digital records together, the system helps technicians determine when representative sampling conditions have been achieved.  Data can then be securely managed and emailed directly from the tablet to a computer, improving consistency, efficiency and traceability across groundwater monitoring programs.

Power & Data Logging

The Aqua TROLL 400 requires external power and is intended for use with an external controller, data logger or telemetry system.  It does not include internal power, a battery or an internal data logger.

• External power input from 8 to 36 VDC
• Typical measurement current of 16 mA at 24 VDC
• Typical sleep current of 40 µA at 24 VDC
• Reading rate of one reading every five seconds
• Data logging via a compatible external controller, data logger or telemetry system

Antifouling & Maintenance Options

The Aqua TROLL 400 includes a stainless steel restrictor. The RDO sensor cap and pH/ORP sensor are replaceable for ongoing maintenance.
