Hydrolab Nitrate Sensor

Hydrolab Nitrate

The Hydrolab Nitrate Sensor is a high precision ISE sensor designed for accurate nitrate (NO₃⁻) measurement in professional water quality monitoring applications. Nitrate is a key nutrient parameter used to assess agricultural runoff, wastewater impacts, and nutrient enrichment in aquatic environments, making this Nitrate sensor an essential tool for environmental monitoring and water resource management.

Factory integrated into the Hydrolab HL4 and Hydrolab HL7 multiparameter water quality meters, the Hydrolab Nitrate sensor provides reliable, real-time nitrate measurements in rivers, streams, lakes, groundwater, and surface water systems. Its robust design and proven sensing technology ensure dependable performance in both routine field surveys and long-term unattended deployments.

SENSOR COMPATIBILITY

The Hydrolab Nitrate Sensor is factory integrated into the following Hydrolab water quality meters:

• Hydrolab HL4
• Hydrolab HL7

Factory integration ensures seamless system communication, correct sensor configuration, and reliable nitrate data alongside other critical water quality parameters.

WHY MEASURE NITRATE?

Nitrate is a key indicator of nutrient pollution and water quality health. Elevated nitrate levels can contribute to eutrophication, algal blooms, and oxygen depletion, negatively impacting aquatic ecosystems and drinking water sources. Monitoring nitrate concentration is essential for identifying pollution sources, assessing land-use impacts, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

The Hydrolab Nitrate sensor provides timely nitrate data that supports informed decision-making for environmental monitoring, agricultural management, and water quality protection programs. When combined with other Hydrolab sensors, nitrate measurements help deliver a comprehensive understanding of nutrient dynamics in aquatic systems.

IMPORTANT

Note: The Hydrolab Nitrate Sensor is supplied as a factory-integrated accessory and cannot be purchased as a standalone product.
