SL1000 PPA Portable Parallel Analyzer

The Hach SL1000 PPA is a field portable colorimeter designed to significantly remove manual handling variability during field testing.

The Hach SL1000 PPA removes powder pillows & glass vials from the field by cleverly encapsulating all chemicals & processes into disposable “Chemkeys”.  As a result, test repeatability is increased, inter-operator variability is decreased, and significant time is save in the field.

2100Q & 2100Qis Portable Turbidimeters

Perfect for both Field and Lab environments, the Hach 2100Q & 2100Qis are portable turbidity meters offering unsurpassed ease of use and accuracy in turbidity measurement.  The two-detector optical system compensates for color within the sample, light fluctuation, and stray light, enabling users to achieve laboratory-grade performance within field environments.

Calibration is made simple through the use of pre-sealed 20NTU, 100NTU, 800 NTU and 1000NTU calibration vials (#2464104).  Calibration verification is conducted using a 10NTU verification standard.

The Hach 2100Q & 2100Qis can be powered by either 4 x AA NiMH rechargeable batteries or 240v mains power.   Logged data (500 measurements) can be transferred to a PC (XML format) via USB cable.

Two Hach 2100Q model types are available:

2100Q:  0 – 1000 NTU
2100Qis:  0 – 1000 FNU

Van Dorn Sampler (12.06)

The Van Dorn Sampler (horizontal water bottle) is a discrete sampler, specially designed for the horizontal sampling of open water bodies, in both fresh water & sea water.

Deployed in the “open” position, the Van Dorn Sampler is simply lowered to the required depth using a rope (30m rope included) before a weighted messenger is deployed.  The weighted messenger travels down the rope, triggers the Van Dorn Sampler and a sample is captured.

With a capacity of 2.2 litres, the Van Dorn Sampler is perfect for a variety of discreet sampling applications including heavy metals analysis (no metal components touch the sample), microbiological sampling, and stratification sampling.

Van Veen Grab Sampler

The Van Veen Grab Sampler is designed for the sediment sampling of water bodies (lakes, rivers etc).

Simply lower the Van Veen Grab Sampler in a water column, slowly & steadily, with jaws in the open position.  When the jaws make contact with the sediment, a catch is released enabling the jaws to close.  As the Van Veen Grab Sampler is raised, the jaws close firmly trapping sediment within.

Various models are available depending on sample size requirements:

• #0430001  Van Veen Grab Sampler (0.5L)
• #0430002  Van Veen Grab Sampler (2L)
• #0430003  Van Veen Grab Sampler (6L)
• #0430004  Van Veen Grab Sampler (12L)

Trilogy

Trilogy is a powerful yet easy to use Laboratory Fluorometer that offers many benefits for benchtop analysis of samples.

Trilogy incorporates an all solid-state design (ie, no moving parts) by utilizing light emitting diodes, sensitive photodiodes, solid glass filters, and electronics to ensure reliable and repeatable readings with no instrument drift.  Sensitivity is maximized and pre-set providing a broad measurement range from minimum detection levels to maximum linear concentrations without instrument adjustments.

Up to 18 different calibrations can be stored, each calibration performed with up to five concentration standards.

Data can be output directly into an Excel spreadsheet during measurements via USB or serial connection.

Trilogy can be used for fluorescence, absorbance, or turbidity measurements by simply snapping in the appropriate module. Standard modules are pre-configured for select applications; custom modules can be built for user-specific applications.  The Trilogy’s small, compact design makes it a great addition to any laboratory analyzing fluorescence, absorbance, or turbidity properties of natural water samples.

Snap-in modules are configured with the optical components necessary for the application of choice; changing applications is as easy as snapping in a different module.
