CL17sc Colorimetric Chlorine Analyser

The Hach CL17sc is a process control Chlorine analyser designed for the real time monitoring of Free Chlorine or Total Chlorine.

Using industry standard colorimetric DPD chemistry, the Hach CL17sc continuously monitors sample, unattended, for up to 30 days.  The Hach CL17sc is compliant with US EPA regulation 40 CFR 141.74.

Incorporating a step-by-step, on-screen instruction for all routine maintenance activities, monthly maintenance for the Hach CL17sc can be performed within a few minutes.  No special tools are required.

The Hach CL17sc is equipped with a comprehensive set of diagnostic features that help you prevent downtime. With a built-in flow meter, three-colour status light, measurement cycle indicators, colorimeter window, and on-screen diagnostics menu you’ll spend less time identifying and fixing issues when they arise.

UVAS plus sc Sensor

Hach’s UVAS plus sc digital UV probe is designed for the “reagent free” determination of organic load (using SAC or spectral absorption coefficient) directly within a sample medium or using a specially designed bypass flow cell.

This self-cleaning optical sensor delivers reliable measurements in near real time.   With its stainless steel housing, this instrument can be deployed within the most challenging sample conditions.

The UVAS plus sc is commonly deployed within the following applications:

• protection of treatment plants from industrial dischargers;
• monitoring shock loads from internal plant processes;
• control of activated sludge processes;
• control methanol feed in BNR based on organic loading;
• final effluent monitoring & monitoring efficiency of UV disinfection .

The UVAS plus sc can be connected to all Hach SC controllers thus providing versatile output options such as:

UV absorbing organic constituents (SAC2540) can be crossed checked on the laboratory DR6000 spectrophotometer.

SC200 Universal Controller

Control your Process Control!

The Hach SC200 Controller is the most versatile controller available within the water quality industry.   It allows the use of both digital and analogue sensors, either alone or in combination, to provide compatibility with the broadest range of sensors.  It replaces the Hach sc100 digital & GLI53 analog controllers with advanced features for easier operator use.  Password-protected SD card reader offers a simple solution for data download and transfer.

The Hach SC200 Controller can be configured to operate two digital sensor inputs, two analog sensor inputs, or a combination of one digital and one analog input. Customers may add communication modules for a variety of protocols including MODBUS RTU, Profibus DPV1, and HART.

The Hach SC1000 consists on two main components:

The SC1000 Controller Display Module is intuitive, with an easy to use interface and large colour touch-screen display that can be used for any number of parameters. One Display Module controls one or more Probe Modules connected by a digital network, is fully portable and can be disconnected and moved anywhere within the network.  The Display Module is available with GSM/GPRS, Ethernet, and TCP/IP output capability.

The SC1000 Controller Probe Module is expandable & upgradable and can be networked (with multiple Probe Modules) to accommodate up to 32 digital input sensors, or box box analysers.

Single Orifice Constant Flow Bubble Gauge/Recorder

The Accubar® Constant Flow (CF) Bubble Gage is a self-contained, precision device to measure water levels & water temperature, consisting of a pump, tank, manifold, control board, display/keypad & enclosure.
The CF Bubbler’s built-in precision Accubar® Pressure Sensor meets the high accuracy requirements for stream gaging & monitoring of tidal/coastal areas, estuaries, groundwater, & reservoirs.
The Bubbler includes a built-in datalogger for stand-alone operation &/or backup (redundant) data recording and RS232 & SDI-12 ports for communications & maintenance. Also supports MODBUS.

Compact CF Bubbler

The Compact Constant Flow Bubbler (Part #56-0133-25-1S), 50% smaller than Sutron’s original Constant Flow Bubbler, is a self-contained, precision device to measure water levels & temperature. It consists of a pump, tank, manifold, control board, display/keypad & enclosure. The new Compact CF Bubbler houses all components within a 10.5”x 8.5”x 7.5” polycarbonate NEMA-4X enclosure. An optional external desiccant is available. Anti-Fouling Copper Tape

To protect your sonde from biofouling, and to facilitate the most accurate sensor readings possible, Hydrolab offer an Anti-Fouling Copper Tape that can be user installed to Hydrolab sensors on the following water quality meters:

• Hydrolab HL4
• Hydrolab HL7

Triggered by the release of dissolved copper ions into the water, which are toxic to microorganism development, anti-fouling not only limits the time and cost associated with instrument maintenance, but drastically reduces the likelihood of organic matter interfering with sensors.

Copper Tape is available in 2″ & 3″ widths, manufactured by Hydrolab and proudly represented by Aqualab Scientific.

RLS

The OTT Radar Level Sensor (RLS) is a non-contact level sensor that utilises pulsating radar technology to determine:

• Water Level
• Distance to Water

Two transmitting antenna are enclosed in a compact housing that pulse radar waves toward a water surface, via a Teflon face plate.  Receiving antenna collect radar pulses reflected from the water surface, then calculate the distance between the Teflon face plate and the water surface.

The time delay from transmission to receipt is proportional to the distance between sensor and water surface.

Approximately 16 individual measurements are conducted per second and averaged after 20 seconds to minimize wave influences.

The OTT RLS is designed for outdoor applications such as bridges or piers, and operates with no effect from temperature gradients, water pollution or sediment load.

The OTT RLS offers a large measurement range with a small blanking distance and narrow beam width and it easily connects to most dataloggers. The RLS has extremely low power consumption and is ideal for remote or solar powered sites.
