The Cera-Diver is a submersible datalogger designed for long-term uninterrupted, real-time water level monitoring within corrosive conditions such as brackish water and seawater.
Manufactured from rugged, corrosion proof ceramic (zirconium-oxide) and measuring just 22mm in diameter, the Cera Diver incorporates an internal pressure sensor that measures hydrostatic pressure above the sensor diaphragm to calculate total water depth.
The Cera-Diver is ideal for various applications including:
• Landfill leachate monitoring
• Salt water intrusion
• Water quality
• Tidal fluctuations
• Tailings
• Plume/Leakage
• Water quality
Cera-Diver Ranges
The Cera-Diver is available in the following ranges:
• 10m
• 20m
• 50m
• 100m
Datlogging Capacity
The Cera Diver can store up to 48,000 datapoints including:
• Date
• Time
• Depth
• Pressure
• Temperature
The Cera-Diver incorporates the following sample methods:
• Fixed length intervals
• Event dependent
• Averaging
• Pumping test

Diver Copper Shield
The Diver Copper Shield protects the Cera-Diver from biofouling and reduces maintenance cost. It is specifically designed to significantly reduce algae growth on the pressure sensor, thus reducing the need for maintenance and reducing the time spent on site.
Baro Diver Atmospheric Pressure Compensation
To compensate Diver data for atmospheric pressure, the Diver range is complimented by an optional Baro-Diver.
The Baro-Diver records atmospheric pressure & temperature data, at predetermined intervals, which can be combined with Diver data.
Diver Reader unit
Logged data can be downloaded easily using the Diver-USB Reader Unit.
Simply insert the Diver into a USB Reader Unit and connect using the free Diver Office software. Once connected the Diver can be programmed, settings can be changed and or data can be read/downloaded.
The Diver-USB Reader Unit connects to a USB port of a PC, Laptop and/or Tablet.
Note: Diver Software (2022) must be installed to be able to communicate with the Diver.
Telemetry Options
When deployed as a long term long term uninterrupted, real time water level logger, the Cera Diver can be coupled with an Eijkelkamp GDT-S Prime (4G modem) enabling remote data transmission (email) over the 4G Network.
Using a user supplied SIM Card, the Eijkelkamp GDT-S Prime transmits water level data (via email) anywhere in the world where there is 4G internet coverage.
Transmitted parameters include:
• Date
• Time
• Depth
• Pressure
• Temperature
• Atmospheric Pressure
The GDT-S Prime is designed to be placed within a 50mm monitoring well and incorporates an external antenna, allowing data to be communicated on a daily basis, without operators having to go into the field!
Diver Software 2022
Setup monitoring projects and identify fieldwork tasks such as a site visit sequence, collection of Diver data and deployment of Divers using Diver Software (2022).
Diver Software (2022) consists of two applications:
• Diver Office
• Diver Field
Use Diver Field to carry out fieldwork and download Diver data.
Use Diver Office to merge time series, barometrically compensate Diver data & convert into water levels, visualize data including manual measurements and export data into MON, CSV or XLSX files for use in third-party applications.
